PM's 4 BASIC RULES FOR RELIGIOUS HARMONY
1a)What are the 4 rules for religious harmony?
-The 4 rules are excersising tolerant and restraint in all groups, keeping religion separate from politics, government remaining secular and mantaining the common spaces that all singaporean share.
b)In your opinion, how can we maintain a common space in schools?
- We can keep a small distance away from one another when we are eating our meals or the tables in school can be designed in such a way that seats are a little far apart from one another.
2)Do you respect other religions? Why or why not? What do you think of children who stay away from their parents' funerals because they believe the traditional rites are against their new religion?
-Yes. Respecting other religion can help us to better understand their culture. On top of that, people from other religion will also respect one if one give them his respect, thus one can make more friends in such a way. Children who does that are unfilial. Children should also be there for their parents' funeral even if they are in a different religion than their parents. Children should not think that traditional rites are against their new religion and should pay their parents their last respect before the body is cremated.
